Our Story
Phoenix Voyages was founded in 2025 by Mireille Guertin, Alain Guertin, and Sebastien Larente — three veterans of the Canadian travel industry who saw legacy host agencies hand advisors a brand and a third-party CRM, and decided that wasn't enough.
Mireille and Alain Guertin previously operated an award-winning franchise agency for more than a decade. During that period, Mireille personally trained 125+ travel advisors. They saw firsthand what advisors actually need to succeed — modern technology, intelligent lead routing, founder-led mentorship, and a flat-fee economic model — and built Phoenix Voyages around exactly that.
Sebastien Larente joined the founding team in 2023, bringing deep sales and insurance expertise that shapes how Phoenix supports advisors and clients. The company is TICO Registered #50028032, IATA accredited, CLIA member, ACTA member, and a Travel Leaders Network consortium affiliate — credentials every advisor under our umbrella inherits from day one.

Mireille (Mimi) Guertin
Co-Founder & CEO
Mireille co-founded Phoenix Voyages after more than a decade running our previous franchise franchise with Alain, where she personally trained 125+ travel advisors. She serves on the Travel Leaders Network Snap Advisory Board and is a member of the TLN Women of Leaders Network. She leads advisor mentorship and operations.
Alain (Al) Guertin
Co-Founder & CTO
Al co-founded Phoenix Voyages and leads technology, product development, and marketing. He architects Tailfire — Phoenix's proprietary back-office platform — and the AI-powered Leads Manager that routes inbound inquiries to the right advisor. He sits on the Travel Leaders Network Advisory Board and the TLN Snap Advisory Board.
Sebastien Larente
Co-Founder & COO
Sebastien joined the founding team in 2023, bringing deep sales and insurance expertise. He leads advisor sales support and oversees Phoenix's insurance program — including E&O umbrella coverage and partnerships with Manulife, Blue Cross, and Allianz — so advisors are protected from day one without buying their own policies.
